RK Academy working together with Institute of Professional Development-Open University Malaysia (IPD-OUM) and Guilford Training Centre,Singapore to provide results - oriented training programs to help the student develop the quality job skills needed for success in career areas offering short range opportunities.
Our programs are designed to put the student in the job market as quickly as possible consistent with the amount of training needed to gain employment. We provide hands- on,practical (learn-by-doing) training in the fields where there is a demand for qualified entry - level employees.
ABOUT IPD-OUM
Called the Institute of Professional Development-Open University Malaysia (IPD-OUM), the Centre is dedicated to supporting the learning and development needs of working adults by providing a variety of professional programmes that are innovative, contemporary and relevant.
Officially founded in the year 2000, IPD-OUM’s activities has benefited career-minded working adults in Malaysia as well as selected international locations such as Bahrain and Sudan.
To provide cutting-edge and applicable career development programmes for working adults, IPD-OUM has developed an extensive network of strategic alliances with recognised local and international experts. Their individual and collective expertise continues to expand the repertoire and quality of relevant professional programmes that reflect industry needs.
Was established in 1997 dedicated to prepare future leaders in the hospitality industry. It is a registered premier further education and training institute in Singapore. Guilford Training Centre has a unique dual approval from two government agencies, The Council For Private Education (CPE) and Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).
The Centre provides further higher education programs and WSQ competency based training programs at different certification levels. It offers a unique opportunity to study internationally accredited qualifications that are tailored to employment opportunities.From 2006 to 2010, the Centre had completed training more than 16,000 graduates in WSQ Qualifications.
